02

Purpose of the website

Our website gives information about Involvement Support, our services, careers and how to contact us.

Information about care and support is general. It does not replace an individual assessment or advice from a suitably qualified professional.

Making an enquiry or referral through the website does not create a care agreement or guarantee a service. Any care package depends on assessment, availability and agreement of terms and funding.

03

Access to the website

The website is free to use. We aim to keep it available, but access may sometimes be interrupted by maintenance, technical problems or events outside our control.

We may update, change or remove content. Changes to the website do not change any separate agreement you have with us for care or support.

04

Acceptable use

You may use this website for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Try to gain unauthorised access to the website, its servers or connected systems
  • Introduce viruses or other harmful material
  • Interfere with the security or running of the website
  • Deliberately put an unreasonable load on the website
  • Submit information that is knowingly false, unlawful, threatening, abusive or defamatory
  • Impersonate someone else or misrepresent your relationship with an organisation
  • Use the website in a way that infringes other people’s rights

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the website or other users.

05

Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, website content belongs to us or is used with permission. This includes text, graphics, photographs, logos and design.

You may view, download or print reasonable extracts for personal, non-commercial use, including discussing our services with family, advocates or professionals. When you do, please:

  • Keep any copyright or ownership notices
  • Name Involvement Support as the source
  • Not change material in a way that misrepresents it
  • Not suggest that we endorse you

Please ask permission before reproducing substantial parts of the website, using our branding or using content commercially.

06

Accuracy of information

We take reasonable care to keep content accurate and up to date, but it may occasionally contain errors or become out of date. Please contact us to confirm details that matter to a care decision, such as availability, locations, charges and the support we can provide.

If you spot an error, please tell us.

07

Links to other websites

Our website may link to websites run by other organisations. We do not control them, and a link does not mean we endorse them. Please read their own terms and privacy information.

08

Linking to our website

You may link to public pages on our website if you do so fairly and lawfully. Your link must not misrepresent our services, damage our reputation or suggest an endorsement that does not exist.

Please ask permission before using our logo or displaying our website inside another website’s frame.

09

Website security

We take reasonable steps to protect the website, but cannot guarantee it will always be free from faults or security weaknesses. Please use appropriate security on your own device.

If you think you have found a security problem, email info@involvementsupport.co.uk. Do not try to access other people’s information or disrupt the website.

10

Our responsibility for loss or damage

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where that would be unlawful, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Your statutory rights are not affected.

If we break these terms or fail to use reasonable care and skill, we are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage you suffer as a result. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable.

Responsibility for care and support services is governed by the relevant service agreement and the law.

11

Events outside our control

Events outside our reasonable control, such as communications failures, power cuts or hosting problems, may affect the website. We will take reasonable steps to fix any disruption.

12

Privacy and cookies

Our privacy policy explains how we use personal information. Our cookie policy explains the cookies and similar technologies we use.

Using this website does not mean you consent to marketing or to cookies that need consent.

13

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Updated terms will be published here with a new review date and apply to future use of the website.

14

If part of these terms cannot be enforced

If any part of these terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the rest will continue to apply.

15

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Nothing in these terms removes any mandatory consumer rights you have.
