Questions

Common questions.

From first contact to day-to-day support. If your question is not here, get in touch.

Who do you support?

We support children, young people and adults with a wide range of needs, including autism, learning disabilities, mental health needs, physical disabilities and complex needs.

What services do you offer?

Supported living, support at home, supported accommodation, community outreach for children and young people, and behaviour support.

Which areas do you cover?

We are based in Corby and Northampton and support people across Northamptonshire and neighbouring counties. Contact us to check whether we can support you in your area.

How does support begin?

It starts with a conversation, followed by a proportionate assessment of needs, strengths, goals and risks.

How quickly can support start?

It depends on the assessment, staffing and funding arrangements. We will give you a realistic timescale once we understand the support needed.

How is support funded?

Support may be funded by a local authority, the NHS, a direct payment or privately. We will talk through the options with you.

Can families and professionals be involved?

Yes. With the person’s consent, we work closely with the people and professionals who matter to them.

Will we see the same staff?

We aim to provide a small, consistent team matched to the person’s interests and communication. If staff change, we plan introductions carefully.

Do you provide care at home for young people?

Yes. Our support at home is focused on young people and young adults, helping with personal care, routines and building independence.

What is community outreach?

We take children and young people out into their community to try new things, build skills and grow in confidence.

Are you regulated?

Involvement Services Limited is registered with the Care Quality Commission to provide personal care.

Is there someone to call out of hours?

Yes. Our on-call line, 07379 542527, is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

How is support reviewed?

Plans are reviewed regularly, and whenever circumstances or needs change.

How do I raise a concern or complaint?

Speak to us directly or read our complaints procedure. Raising a concern will never affect the support you receive.

How do I make a referral?

Use our referral form or contact the team. We will listen, ask a few questions and explain the next steps.
